The Jarrold Group became the first investor of the award-winning food brand Farmyard Frozen which launched the campaign this week, setting its sights on national expansion.
The Norfolk-based company was founded by culinary creatives Andrew Jones and Hannah Springham, who were behind the Michelin Guide-listed restaurant Farmyard, previously located in St Benedicts Street.
Nick Steven-Jones, chief executive officer of the Jarrold Group, said: “As part of our ongoing commitment to Norwich and Norfolk, we launched the Jarrolds Growth Fund in February 2024.

“A pot of £100,000 will be released every year to support Norfolk businesses looking to propel their growth.
“We love the Farmyard Frozen brand because Andrew and Hannah share so many of the same values as Jarrolds when it comes to creating exceptional products and wonderful experiences for customers.
“By demonstrating our confidence in the potential of Farmyard Frozen to expand into a national brand, we hope that lots more local people will be tempted to buy a share of this delicious business opportunity.”
Anyone interested in owning a share of Farmyard Frozen can sign up for early access to the campaign via Crowdcube and shares will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
To celebrate the new partnership, Farmyard is making a splash in the Jarrolds Food Hall with a shop floor takeover for September, complete with neon pink freezers, cheeky banners and handcrafted goodies.
Hannah Springham, managing director of Farmyard Frozen, added: “We’re tickled neon pink to announce that as of today, Jarrolds owns a piece of the ‘fine frozen’ Farmyard pie.
“To have their buy-in is everything as it gives our funding campaign serious clout.”
